Content Routing Blade

The Content Routing Blade allows sophisticated content-based routing of all forms of content across enterprise and carrier networks. The Content Routing Blade inspects the full content of every message coming through the router, matches that information with subscribers (applications or people) that need and are authorized to receive it and instructs the router to send it to them.

To date, customers with large numbers of content routing rules and large message rates have had no choice but to break their message streams into manageable chunks to route against content. Solace’s hardware-based approach to this problem is as many as 1,000 times faster than doing the same thing in software. This unique approach easily adapts to legacy formats, takes substantial burden off distributed applications and dramatically reduces overall solution costs.

  • Hardware-based content parsing, routing, forwarding and filtering.
  • Full content routing supporting up to two million content rules with microseconds of latency overhead.
  • 100 to 1,000 times faster than software-based content inspection and routing.
  • Architecture supports multiple Content Routing Blades per content router to support very large content networks.
  • Dynamic application-layer routing protocols enable sharing of subscription information across routers.
